Awaseru — Salù

There is a particular quality to the sand in Anguilla. Exceptionally fine and remarkably pale, it is a landscape our Creative Director came to know first through the recollections of her family.

Salù takes its name from the Papiamentu word for salt, referencing both the pale sand of Anguilla and the island's history of salt production.

The sandstone form recalls a raindrop at the instant it meets the earth, resting upon a base of American black walnut. Its porous surface accepts fragrance oil, allowing scent to disperse naturally into the surrounding room.
